Research overview

Letrozole (Femara) is a third-generation non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor, consistently producing the deepest estrogen suppression of any oral AI — up to 97% reduction in circulating estradiol at therapeutic doses. Competitively and selectively inhibits CYP19A1 aromatase without affecting glucocorticoid or mineralocorticoid synthesis. Used in research for breast cancer models, female infertility protocols (ovulation induction in PCOS models), and extreme estrogen control during high-androgenic research contexts.

The potency difference versus anastrozole makes letrozole the compound of choice when near-complete estrogen ablation is the study objective. Half-life approximately 2 days. Hilma Biocare 2.5 mg tablets, Janoshik-verified 99.2% purity.

Exemestane: Steroidal Irreversible Aromatase Inhibitor Research

Exemestane (Aromasin) is a steroidal, mechanism-based irreversible aromatase inhibitor. Unlike anastrozole and letrozole, exemestane permanently inactivates CYP19A1 by forming a covalent bond with the enzyme. Research profile covering mechanism, androgenic metabolites, and protocol applications.
