Bacteriostatic Water (0.9% Benzyl Alcohol, USP-grade) is the research-standard diluent for reconstituting lyophilized peptide and protein powders including HGH, peptides, HCG and research compounds. The 0.9% benzyl alcohol preservative inhibits bacterial and fungal growth after the septum is pierced, allowing the multi-dose 30ml vial to remain stable for up to 28 days when refrigerated — unlike sterile water for injection which must be discarded within hours of opening. Critical for accurate dosing: reconstituting with a measured volume of BAC water establishes a precise concentration (e.g., 1 ml BAC into 5 mg peptide = 5 mg/ml = 500 mcg per 0.1 ml).
