GHRP-2 (Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide-2) is a synthetic hexapeptide and potent ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a) agonist that stimulates strong, supraphysiological GH pulses from pituitary somatotrophs. Among the GHRPs, GHRP-2 produces the highest GH peak amplitude in research, often 7–15-fold above baseline at 1 mcg/kg. Unlike Ipamorelin, it produces dose-dependent prolactin and cortisol co-elevation — making it valuable for studying the full ghrelin-axis hormonal cascade.
